Song of the week: Michael Jackson's We are the world

Some students from 5ºB have asked me to teach you this song, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie 25 years ago. They knew that they wanted a song which would be easy to sing and memorable, and the result was one of the greatest hits of all times.The song asks the world to remember the poorest people on the Earth making it a better place to live.
It has been described as "an appeal to human compassion". The first lines in the song's repetitive chorus proclaim, "We are the world, we are the children, we are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving
